Great Pictures and a very interesting blog. I share your drought plagued situation here in east Central Texas and will read all of your posts with interest.
Your pictures are beautiful. It's nice that you give us the names of the plants, butterflies, and such. You sure have a lot of color in your neck of the woods.
I can never get a sulfer to hold still!!! Ill bet those lovely whites wont grow in zone 9 sigh
I posted some additional suphurs for you, Sharon... You also might enjoy the cloudless sulphur post where I showed them depositing eggs on their host plants.
I have tons of cloudless sulphurs this Autumn, after growing coffee weed and partridge peas for them.
I suspect that you could grow delea pinnata in Florida if tou have a dry sandy location. Problem is that "summer's end" doesn't bloom long.
