What do you plan, if anything, to do about kudzu bugs? I would not care if they would stay on wisteria and eat it up. They say when wisteria is gone, they will move to figs. I don't want the nasty things on my figs while I'm trying to gather them.
Sorry, I thought the bugs floating in the bucket of water was clear.
My kudzu bugs started out on the fava beans... As seen here.
They've moved on to the gonolobus / matalea, and also the cow peas... I am seeing them in the fig trees also.
If you hold one hand under the bugs and use the other to brush/shake them off, they drop into the first hand... then drop them in a bucket of water. They're hard-shelled critters, don't smush too easily. So... drown em.
